FJMU/FJMCAANA MEDICAL CAMP AND FLOOD RELIEF & REHABILITATION IN COLLOBORATION WITH CHS IN FAZALPUR , RAJIN PUR DISTT

The Team of FJMU/FJMCAANA/CHS comprising of Senior National and International physicians visited Rajanpur, Southern Punjab. They visited Village Kashiani which has been TOTALLY destroyed by the magnanimous calamity. . VC FJMU Prof Khalid Masud Gondal with Dr Asif Mahmood Jah, FTO , Patron Customs Healthcare Society, and FJMCAANA ,represented by President FJMCAANA Dr Fizza Saleem, Dr Amna Buttar, Dr Samina Toufeeq. FJMU team consisted of Prof Shamsa Humayun, Prof Bilquis Shabbir, Prof Imran Aslam, Dr Awais, Dr Salman, Dr Usman and other members left early morning. The team inaugurated 29 houses established for the homeless families, Each family consisting of 10 members on an average. Each house has 2 rooms a washroom and a compoud. Special focus is on the widows and orphans. The team also established medical camps at two sites where large number of patients including men ,women and children were seen by senior doctors from FJMU and FJMCAANA in the team. Counselling for family planning and malaria/Dengue prevention was also carried out. Ration and medicines were distributed amongst the needy. The team expressed their intention to expand the project of the village further , establish a School, health center and mosque to provide community support on a long term basis for rehabilitation with followup.
