SECRETARY SHC&ME VISITED FJMU AND ALLIED HOSPITALS SGRH/MCH. Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi, Secretary, Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department, Govt of the Punjab after taking over charge on 1st day visited the newly constructed Fatima Jinnah Institute of Mother and Child Health, FJMU/Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore, alongwith Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, Mr. Muhammad Usman, Special Secretary, SHC & ME Department, Registrar, FJMU Prof. Dr. Muhammed Nadeem, Additional Secretary (Dev.) Health, Mr. Agha Nabeel, Additional Secretary (Fin.) Health, Mst Shahida, Additional Secretary Health Miss Qurat Ul Ain Memon, Prof Bilquis Shabbir member DEAG ,Chief Planning Officer Abdul Haq Bhatti and Project Director MCH Block Dr. Athar Yousaf.
Project Director MCH Block Dr. Athar Yousaf briefed the Secretary SHC & ME Department about updates of the Project.
Additional Secretary (Fin.) Health, Mst Shahida briefed the Secretary SHC & ME Department about the updates of service rules and recruitment process of the staff for Punjab Thalassemia and Other Genetic Disorders Prevention and Research Institute.
The Secretary, SHC & ME Department advised to expedite the process of new midwifery program at the Nursing College, SGRH, Lahore. During discussion on Dengue patients updates, the Secretary, SHC & ME Department also advised the Medical Superintendent, SGRH to provide best healthcare facilities to the patients.
