The 32nd meeting of Syndicate, FJMU was chaired by Hon’ble Minister for Health Punjab, Prof. Dr. Javed Akram.

Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kamran Khalid. Khawaja, Additional Secretary (Finance) Health Department Ms. Shahida Farrukh, Additional Secretary Finance Department Ms. Saima Ali, Additional Director Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department Punjab Mr. Shahid Imtiaz, Chartered Accountant Mr. Ale Imran, Treasurer Prof. Abdul Hameed, Medical Superintendents of Constituent Hospitals Dr. Athar Yusuf, Dr. Aamir Saleem, Dr. Ahsan Awan, Principal Nursing College Ms. Bilquis Akhtar along with other members of the Syndicate attended the meeting.

Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal welcomed all the Hon’ble Members of the Syndicate.

Registrar Prof. Muhammad Nadeem performed his duties as Secretary Syndicate.

The meeting started with the recitation from the Holy Quran.

Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal gave a detailed briefing on Relief & Rehabilitations activities in the Flood-Affected Areas, Establishment of a New Mosque in the premises of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Inauguration of Fatima Jinnah Institute of Mother & Child Health, Annual Scientific Conference, Kashmir Day Celebration, Inauguration of Fatima Jinnah Block Girls Hostel, 6th International Conference on Patient Safety and on ongoing Educational, Research Activities in the University. Health Minister Punjab Prof. Dr. Javed Akram praised and paid tribute for organizing the best activities.

Various Agendas regarding Developmental Projects, Extension of Faculty and Examination regulations matters were discussed in the meeting. Several other financial matters of Fatima Jinnah Medical University and its Allied hospitals were presented and progress of ongoing projects were also discussed. The Chair emphasized on timely completion of projects and strengthening the finances with our own resources.

At the end of the meeting, Minister for Health Punjab Prof. Javed Akram said that the meeting was organized in a very well manner. All the decisions in the meeting were taken for the welfare of the ailing humanity. He further apprised that we should keep our intention in such a way that there is no mistake is made by us.

After the meeting, Health Minister Punjab Prof. Javed Akram visited Fatima Jinnah Institute of Mother & Child Health along with Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal and members of the Syndicate. Prof. Javed Akram praised and paid tribute for providing the best and International Standard Healthcare Facilities at Fatima Jinnah Institute of Mother & Child Health.
