The Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC)at Fatima Jinnah Medical University held a hybrid Research Seminar titled’ How to Frame a Research Question’ at Department of Medical Education on March 31st, 2023. This was the second in the series of lectures and workshops organized by the ORIC Department, for the students and Faculty of Fatima Jinnah Medical University while welcoming registration by other institutions as well.

‘How to Frame a Research Question’ was an exceedingly successful activity, with over 150 registrations from all over Pakistan. Dr. Azra Mahmud, Director ORIC, conducted this highly interactive session on the fundamental role of framing research question in academic research and the strategies for developing one. The final session was a practice run to compose the ideal research question where participants used their own study topics. The feedback for this seminar has been very positive with a high number of expressions of interest to attend similar activities in the future
