A meeting of the Finance and Planning Committee, Fatima Jinnah Medical University, was held under the kind patronage and Chairmanship of Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal. It was attended by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Kamran Khalid Khawaja,Registrar Prof. Muhammed Nadeem, Chairperson Department of Medicine/ Director QEC/ Dean Nursing & Allied Prof. Bilquis Shabbir, Chairperson Department of Obst. & Gynae/ Dean Undergraduate Prof. Aisha Malik, Head of Neurosurgery Department/ Treasurer Prof. Abdul Hameed, Dean Basic Sciences/ Head of Anatomy Department Prof. Aliya Zahid. Also, external members present were:Member Institute of Chartered Accountant of Pakistan & ICMAP Mr. Ale- Imran Siddiqi and representative from P&D Department Govt. of Punjab, Miss Uzma. Medical Superintendent, SGRH Dr. Amir Saleem, Medical Superintendent, GTHS Dr. Sohail Arshad, Medical Superintendent, GMTH Dr. Muhammad Ahsan Awan, Director General PTGD, Dr. Hussain Jafri, Director Finance, SGRH Mr. Samuel Amanat, Chief Pharmacist, SGRH Miss Umza also attended the meeting as members of the Finance & Planning Committee.
In the meeting,presented by Mr. Awais Shabbir, Deputy Treasurer and
Mr. Israr, Internal Auditor, various agenda items were discussed in detail, along with recommendations for the Annual Budget 2023–24 of Fatima Jinnah Medical University and its three Allied Hospitals and institutions, and recommendations for academics, research , service delivery and development projects were also presented as per future vision and mission statement of Fatima Jinnah Medical University.
The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal.
