A meeting of Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal, the Vice-Chancellor of FJMU with the alumni residing in the UK took place

Notably, the senior faculty members of FJMU, including the Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kamran Khalid Khawaja, the Principal of FJMC Prof. Noreen Akmal, and the Director of QEC/Dean of Nursing Prof. Bilquis Shabbir, participated online to deliberate on future collaborative agendas. Among the topics discussed was the upcoming strategy for the annual symposium scheduled for the 19th and 20th of December.

During this meeting, the alumni expressed their heartfelt congratulations to FJMU for its recent improvements in university rankings and the accolades received by its faculty. A preliminary plan of the Annual FJMU Symposium 2023 was put by Prof Bilquis Shabbir, Chief Organiser for the Symposium Committee. Prof Noreen Akmal shared her appreciation for the commitment of FJMU Alumni and Prof Kamran Khawaja expressed the vision of FJMU and the role Alumni can play in uplifting the status of the university. VC expressed and appreciated the role FJMU Alumni bodies in the recent crisis of floods and establishment of Kashiani Village with their collaboration. He said the upcoming Conference will focus on new area of mutual collaboration and targets. The gathering concluded with a vote of thanks.
