A two day Workshop on PPH Bundle Approach was conducted at FJMU by Gynae unit-1 under patronship of Prof.Aisha Malik and Chief organiser Dr.Saima Chaudhary

A two day Workshop on PPH Bundle Approach was conducted at FJMU by Gynae unit-1 under patronship of Prof.Aisha Malik and Chief organiser Dr.Saima Chaudhary. The workshop was graced by the presence of worthy Vice Chancellor FJMU Prof. Khalid M Gondal ( tamgha-e- Imtiaz, presidential pride of performance), Pro VC Prof. Kamran Khalid Khawaja, ex pro vc Prof Shamsa Humayun,Chairperson Medicine/Director QEC/Dean Nursing Prof. Bilquis Shabbir. Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof Khalid Masood Gondal admired the efforts of Gynae department to train healthcare professional for management if PPH.

The Workshop was attended by 30 participants. In workshop participants were trained for management of postpartum hemorrhage with bundle approach along with training in non clinical skills like leadership, teamwork. Communication, facility readiness and respectful maternity care. The facilitators for workshop were Prof. Aisha Malik, Dr Saima Chaudhary, Dr. Sarwat Nazir, Dr. Kanwal Nosheen, Dr. Vasiqa Farhan and Dr. Nahid Akhter. The workshop was also observed by Dr. saba Ansari representative of Prof Rubina Sohail who trained the faculty for this workshop.
