ACADEMIC COUNCIL BIDS FAREWELL TO PROF MUNIZA QAYYUM
On the evening of April 12th, 2023, Academic Council of FJMU gathered to bid farewell to the esteemed Professor Muniza Qayyum at a special ceremony held in her honor.
The event began with a welcome address by theVC FJMU, Prof Khalid Masud Gondal, who expressed his deep gratitude to Professor Qayyum for her invaluable contributions to the department and the institution. He praised her for her dedication to teaching and research and highlighted her significant achievements in her field, especially her unprecedented services as Chairman Scholarship Committee.
The ceremony continued with speeches from members of the Academic Council and senior faculty members who shared their personal experiences and fond memories of working with Professor Muniza Qayyum. Prof Aftab Choudhry, retired Professor of Surgery FJMC and senior most member of the Academic council who was present, commended her for her exceptional teaching skills, her willingness to help others, her pleasant demeanor, her positive energy, and her commitment to academic excellence. The attendees reminisced about their time with Professor Muniza Qayyum and wished her all the best for her future endeavors.
The highlight of the evening was a touching speech by Professor Muniza Qayyum herself, who expressed her gratitude to the institution, her colleagues, and students for their support and kindness throughout her tenure. She thanked everyone for the opportunity to work with such talented and dedicated individuals and spoke fondly of her time at the institution.
The ceremony concluded with a token presentation to Professor Muniza Qayyum, in recognition of her contributions to the institution.
