Arrangements for Muharram ul Haram at Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, supervised by VC-FJMU.

On occasion of Ashura the Vice-Chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Professor Khalid Masood Gondal, along with the Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Kamran Khalid Khawaja,MS Dr. Aamer Saleem, visited the Emergency Ward of Gangaram Hospital and inquired about the well-being of all patients. Senior doctors, including Professor Bilquis Shabbir, Professor Kamran Khalid Khawaja, Professor Imran Islam, Senior Registrar Surgery Dr. Anza Talal Niazi,, Senior Registrar Medicine Dr,Mougheesa ,and Registrar Dr. Awais Malik, were also present with them. A ward consisting of 15 beds was allocated to the Emergency Department for medical and surgical units. Professors Bilquis Shabbir and Prof Imran Islam mentioned that our specialist doctors, nurses, and paramedics are working alongside the medical team. On the directives of Health Minister Professor Dr. Javed Akram, Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Kamran Khalid Khawaja and MS Dr. Aamer Saleem are personally supervising all these arrangements. The administration of the university and the hospital stated that providing the best medical facilities to the patients at Gangaram Hospital, in accordance with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab and the Health Minister, is the mission of the doctors and staff, and they are committed to fulfilling this mission by serving humanity without any delay.
