BUSINESS PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

Innovation and Entrepreneurship along with technology together can open up a new avenue of development and knowledge-based prosperity for Pakistan. In an attempt to equip students with various business models, start-ups, and entrepreneurship, the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) and Business Incubation Centre (BIC), under the visionary and dynamic leadership of Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, Presidential Pride of Performance), held a workshop on “Business Planning and Development” on March 27, 2024.
The esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Among the distinguished attendees were Prof. Dr. Bilquis Shabbir (Presidential Pride of Performance), Consortium Partner (LCWU) Dr. Neelma Munir, Mr. Yousaf, Ms. Nadia, Students of LCWU, Dr. Nazia, Dr. Hussain Jaffari, Dr. Taskeen Zahra, Dr. Sunniya Rasool, Dr. Fariha Nazneen, Dr. Saira Iqbal, Dr. Naeem Afzal, Dr. Saira Munawer, Dr. Qanita, Nursing Student of Shahdera Medical College, Executive Members of Entrepreneurship Club, and other students.
The workshop was concluded by the leading entrepreneur of the country, Ms. Aaleen Zaryyab (CEO & Founder of Jazmine Organics).
The objective of the workshop was to empower participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to develop and execute a successful business plan that drives growth and profitability. A certificate of appreciation was presented to Ms. Aaleen Zaryyab by the worthy Vice Chancellor. Souvenir badges were also distributed among the executive members of the Entrepreneurship Club.
Dr.Taskeen Zahra took the opportunity to celebrate and announce the success of Mr. Muhammad Faisal Mushtaq and his team. He is a BS Nursing student at FJMU and Co-Founder of ZUNF MEDICARE. Their idea emerged victorious in the prestigious All Pakistan Business Plan Competition held at the esteemed National Textile University, Faisalabad. His exemplary achievement comes amidst stiff competition, with over 300 startups vying for top honours from across the nation. Vice Chancellor, Professor Khalid Masud Gondal, and Dean of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Bilques Shabbir, appreciated the remarkable achievement of the students.
The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks and an interactive question-and-answer session.
