Department of Medical Education FJMU organized 3rd contact Session of Batch 6 Certificate in Health Professionals
Education(CHPE) course from 27Feb to 1st March 2023, under
patronship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal Tamga e Imtiaz , Presidential Pride of Performance and under supervision of Prof Noreen Akmal , Principle FJMU , and Director DME concluded.
Vice chanceller Prof Dr Khalid Masud Gondal Chaired today’s session . Vice Chancellor’s speech was full of motivation and he expressed his vision regarding medical education in Pakistan and role of Fatima Jinnah Medical University to promote excellence in Medical Education.
He also Answered the Queries of Students Regarding Medical Education in Pakistan
Today’s session was facilitated by Prof Nabeela Shami renowned medical educationist and Professor of OBGY at Lahore Medical and Dental College Lahore.
She teaches the students about Curriculum Development and Alignment.
There are 26 Students enrolled in this Batch. Out of these 13 are from the FJMU and affiliated institutions, and 13 are from other teaching institutions and hospitals of the Country , including Islamabad and Gilgit.
Out of 26 two candidates are serving Officers of Armed Forces.
Prof Munazza Iqbal Dean Basic Sciences, Prof Munizzah Qayyum Dean of Under graduate Studies, Prof . Kamran Khalid Dean of Surgery , Prof . Muhammad Nadeem Registrar of University, Prof Abdul Hameed Professor of Neurosurgery , Dr Farah Rehman Assistant Professor DME and faculty of FJMU , along with Prof Dr Malika and Col.(Rt) Dr Muneera , The Old graduates and Ex Professors of FJMU also attended the session.
