A condolence meeting through an online webinar was arranged by the immediate past president of the Pakistan Medical Association, Prof. Dr. Salma Aslam Kundi, for a tribute to Dr. Seemi Jamali (late), in collaboration with the Pakistan Physiological Society, Azad Jammu & Kashmir Medical College Muzaffarabad, Women Medical College Abbotabad, the Pakistan Association of Pathologists, and the South Asian Association of Physiologists.
VC FJMU/President CPSP, Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal Lahore attended as the Chief Guests.Prof. Dr. Mulazim Hussain Bukhari, Principal, Azad Jammu & Kashmir Medical College Muzaffarabad, served as moderator.
Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal, President CPSP, thanked all for arranging this online webinar in honour of Dr. Seemi Jamali (late). He enlightened the audience with the legendary personality of Dr. Seemi Jamali. He said that all the medical faculty is proud of her and prays to Allah Almighty to shower His blessings on her grave. May her soul rest in eternal peace. He further said that her contributions to humanity were unprecedented. She led a brilliant life, served the patients wholeheartedly, and was a role model for all of us.
Prof Bilquis Shabbir, Director QEC/Chairperson Medicine/ Dean Nursing, FJMU also paid tribute to the honesty, dedication, hard work, and commitment of (late) Dr. Seemi Jamali and talked about her role in women empowerment in the country.
President PMDC, Prof. Dr. Rizwan Taj; Prof. Ashraf Nizami, President PMA, Lahore; Director JPMC Prof Shahid Rasul; and Prof. Saira Afzal, KEMU also attended the webinar and talked about the contributions of Dr Seemu Jamali.
In the end, Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal offered Fateha and Dua E Maghfarat for the departed soul.
