Professor Bilal S. Mohydin said that the cause of most deaths in the world is heart disease, the main causes of which are a substandard diet, high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking, a high level of cholesterol in the blood, and a lack of physical activity. Our goal is to make the patients as well as their attendants aware of how to improve their lifestyle in the future if someone has had a heart attack. Speaking at the seminar, the speakers said that majority of population dies due to cardiovascular diseases. The bad part of this is the number of young deaths caused by irregular lifestyle and unhealthy diet. The main among these are uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus, uncontrolled blood pressure, high blood cholesterol levels, and smoking. It is necessary for us to make our nation aware of these enemies. On World Heart Day, it is very important to convey the message to the people that, with many simple preventive measures, you can avoid this deadly disease.
