Under the dynamic leadership of Vice Chancellor FJMU, Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal (Tamgha e Imtiaz and Presidential Pride of Performance), a post-conference workshop on “Mastering Precision in Hysteroscopy” was organized by the Department of Obst. & Gynae, in the Department of Medical Education (DME), FJMU, Lahore, on January 18, 2024.
This academic activity was organised under the convenership of Prof. Dr. Noreen Akmal, Principal FJMC/HOD Obst. & Gynae Unit 2, FJMU/ SGRH.
Prof. Sohail Khursheed Lodhi, nationally renowned, was the guest speaker and facilitator of the workshop.
Prof. Noreen Akmal, Prof. Amna Euseph, and other senior faculty members participated in this innovative workshop.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
In the welcome address, Prof. Noreen Akmal briefed the participants of the workshop regarding the role of Endosopic Surgery with an emphasis on Hysteroscopy in the current practices of gynecology.
Prof. Sohail Khursheed Lodhi’s topic of presentation was *Hysteroscopy for Beginners. He elaborated on the various aspects of the use of Hysteroscopy in Gynaecology like polyps, myomectomy, endometrial sampling, etc. He explained the techniques used in performing these procedures. He shared his experiences as an Endoscopic Surgeon in Gynaecology.
This innovative educational activity was ended by a vote of thanks by Prof. Noreen Akmal to all the distinguished guests.
