A post-conference workshop on “Arthrscopy and ACL reconstruction” is conducted in the Orthopedics Department of SGRH on December 26, 2023, under the supervision of the Head of Orthopaedic Department, FJMU/ SGRH Dr. Tanveer Afzal.
The esteemed Vice Chancellor of FJMU, Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal, graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
The Vice Chancellor, FJMU, was also accompanied by the Pro-Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Kamran Khalid Khawaja, and Chairperson Department of Medicine/ Dean Nursing/ Director of QEC, FJMU Prof. Bilqius Shabbir.
Prof. Tahseen Riaz, President, Pakistan Orthopedic Association, graced the occasion as Guest of Honour.
Dr. Fahad Nazir (FCPS,MRCS) is the main facilitator of the workshop.
The workshop started with the recitation of the holy Quran and the presentation of the agenda and schedule of the workshop.
Participants were given hands-on experience and a demonstration of the steps of arthroscopy, followed by a briefing on ACL reconstruction by Nazir.
At the end, the worthy Vice Chancellor said the concluding remarks and emphasised the importance of sports injuries, especially ACL, followed by the distribution of certificates to the facilitator and the participants.
