*FJMU ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE 2023* *POST-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP TITLED HELPING BABIES BREATHE”*

A post-conference workshop on “helping babies breathe “is conducted in the paediatrics department of SGRH on December 26, 2023 under the supervision of Professor of Paediatrics Department, Prof. Fouzia Ishaq.

The esteemed Vice Chancellor FJMU Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

The Vice Chancellor, FJMU was also accompanied by the Pro-Vice Chancellor FJMU Prof. Kamran Khalid Khawaja and Principal FJMC Prof. Noreen Akmal.

Dr. Hibba Haider (MD,MIH,DIMPH) is the main facilitator of the workshop.

The workshop started with the recitation of the holy Quran and the presentation of the agenda and schedule of the workshop.

Participants were shown a video demonstration of the steps of helping babies breathe on the projector, followed by a briefing of the algorithms for different scenarios with the help of flip charts by Dr. Hibba Haider.

This was followed by hands-on training of the steps of helping babies breathe in neonatellies and participants were evaluated on a predefined checklist.

This was followed by a multiple-choice HBB knowledge check test, which further broadened the concepts of participants about the workshop.

At the end, the worthy Vice Chancellor said the concluding remarks and the importance of helping babies breathe workshop, followed by shield distribution to the facilitator and certificate distribution to the participants.
