A pre-scientific workshop on “Research Article and Publication “was organized by the Department of Community Medicine and ORIC under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Taskeen Zahra (HOD Community Medicine) at FJMU, Lahore.
The Patron-in-chief of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and Presidential Pride of Performance), Vice Chancellor, FJMU, graced the occasion as chief guest.
Prof. Dr. Bilquis Shabbir (Chairperson, Department of Medicine/QEC/Dean Nursing, FJMU) and the secretary organising committee also graced the occasion.
The session was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Ayesha Humayum (Head Community Medicine Department and Vice Principal, Sheikh Zayed Medical College).
The objective of the workshop was to foster a research culture in the university and provide participants with actionable insights into article writing and its publication. Faculty members from FJMC, Principal Nursing College Shahdara, nursing instructors, and postgraduate trainees participated enthusiastically.
The workshop ended with hands-on training and a question-and-answer session with the promise to promote research culture.
