A pre-scientific workshop on “Advanced Biostatistics and Epidemiological Interpretations (Hands On)” as organized by the Department of Community Medicine and ORIC under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Taskeen Zahra (HOD Community Medicine) at FJMU, Lahore.
The patron-in-chief of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal (Tamgh-e-Imtiaz and Presidential Pride of Performance), Vice Chancellor, FJMU, graced the occasion. Prof. Dr. Bilquis Shabbir (Chairperson, Department of Medicine/QEC/Dean Nursing, FJMU), Secretary organizing committee, Prof.Dr. Amna Eusaph, and Dr.Nazia also graced the occasion. The session was facilitated by Dr.Anjum Razaaq (Head Department of Epidemiology, IPH), Mr. Faisal Mushtaq (Department of Biostatistics, IPH), and Mr.Muhammad Umar (Data Consultant, Jhepigo, Islamabad).
The objective of the workshop was to foster a research culture in the university and provide participants with actionable insights towards data analysis and its interpretation.
Faculty members from the FJMU and ORIC department participated enthusiastically.
The workshop ended with hands-on training and a question-and-answer session, with a promise to practice more.
