A pre-scientific workshop on “How to Conduct a Clinical Audit” was organised by the Psychiatry Department under the kind patronage of the esteemed Vice Chancellor of FJMU, Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Aysha Rashid, HOD Psychiatry & Behavioural Sciences, FJMU.
The Chairperson, Department of Medicine/QEC/Dean Nursing, FJMU, Prof. Dr. Bilquis Shabbir graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Dr. Tanvir Hussain, Chairperson and HOD of the Department of Forensic Medicine at FJMU, and Dr. Nazia also graced the occasion.
The session was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Samira Qambar Bukhari, HOD, Department of Psychiatry, SIMS.
The main objective of today’s workshop was to make the Participants learn how to conduct clinical audits and the importance it hold for the betterment of clinical practice and patient care.
The worthy Chairperson of the Medicine Department, Prof. Dr. Bilquis Shabbir emphasised its importance, as it is crucial to improve the provision of clinical services to patients and to bring about important reforms in the medical setup. She enlightened theparticipants that it is significant to raise the standard of clinical care for the welfare of patients as well as to be recognised as quality care providers in the medical world.
She highly appreciated the facilitator, Prof. Dr. Samira Qambar Bukhari, and the organisers Prof. Dr. Aysha Rashid and Dr. Mariam Iftikhar.
