The Department of Urology and Kidney Transplant at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital organized a hands-on workshop on “Latest Endourological Flexible Instruments and Procedures” under the supervision of Associate Prof. Dr. Shams Ul Islam (HOD Urology and Kidney Transplant).
Prof. Bilquis Shabbir (Chairperson Department of Medicine, Dean Nursing, Director QEC FJMU) on behalf of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, graced the session as Chief Guest. The workshop was attended by all faculty members of the department of urology.
A large number of students, house officers, and PGRs also attended the workshop.The workshop started with an introductory note by Associate Prof. Dr. Shams Ul Islam. Dr.Muhammad Ammar (Senior Registrar Urology SGRH) delivered a presentation on the latest flexible instruments, and Dr. Faisal Ahmed Zaeem (Senior Registrar Urology SGRH) presented a practical demonstration of the use of these instruments.
The worthy chief guest, Prof. Dr. Bilquis Shabbir, appreciated the Department of Urology and Kidney Transplant for organizing this workshop. She gave her insight about.She said that expertise in using these modern tools is the need of the hour.
Associate Professor Dr. Shams Ul Islam concluded the session with some final thoughts on advancements in endourology.
At the end, Prof. Bilquis Shabbir (Chairperson, Department of Medicine, Dean of Nursing, Director, QEC FJMU) distributed certificates among all the participants.
