A Quiz Competition was organised by Pakistan National Television. Two brilliant students of Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Lahore, Ms. Amna Tazeen from 2nd year MBBS and Ms. Noor ul Ain Tahir from 3rd year MBBS, participated in this quiz competition named “AZM E AALISHAN” regarding the Independence Day of Pakistan.
There were a total of four teams participating in the quiz competition from different institutions of Pakistan, including Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Lahore College for Women University, the University of Narowal, and Commerce College, Gujranwala.
The competition had four rounds, and students of Fatima Jinnah Medical University performed excellently in every round.
Fatima Jinnah Medical University secured the top position in the competition, won it one-sidedly, and got a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/-.
The Worthy Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, the Pro-Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Kamran Khalid Khawaja, and the Principal, FJMC Prof. Noreen Akmal, expressed their heartfelt congratulations to the students on this great victory.
The Vice Chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Professor Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, appreciated the tireless efforts of the FJMU students for bringing the name of the Institution to light on National grounds.
The students are members of the Shanawar Quiz Society at FJMU, working under the presidency of Ms. Sana Shoukat. All the preparations for the competition were supervised by Staff President Dr. Naghmana Lateef.
The society is functional under the dynamic leadership of the Worthy Vice chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Professor Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal.
The students are highly obliged to the Worthy Vice Chancellor, FJMU, for making them able to reach such a platform, for inculcating confidence, and for turning out as Winners of the Quiz Competition.
