Following the CCS vision of honorable Chief Minister Punjab, Minister of Health and Secretary SHC&ME, an emergent high-level institutional meeting was held by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Khalid Masood Gondal on 12-7-2023. Participants included the Pro-Vice Chancellor of FJMU, Deans, Principal FJMC, faculty and officials of affiliated hospitals, including MS Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Government Teaching Hospital Shahdara, Government Mozang Teaching Hospital.
The Vice Chancellor apprised the members about essential components of CCS, took briefing of steps taken at all 3 affiliated hospitals following the directions of Secretary SHC&ME in the 2 recent all-Punjab level meetings held on CCS.
The Vice Chancellor expressed satisfaction on immediate steps taken according to the directives of Secretary SHC&ME. He emphasized on further improvement of patient Comfort, Care and services standards at all affiliated institutes.
He appreciated his team for excellent management of patients in the recent mishap of Mozang Hospital where wall of adjacent building fell.
Later, he gave instructions about short-term and long term measures to be adapted to implement the CCS mission in all affiliated hospitals in true letters and spirits with zero tolerance to any neglect.
He directed that regular weekly meetings of university and hospital officials be held to monitor the CSS delivery standards to accomplish the vision of honorable CM, Health Minster, and Secretary SHC&ME.
