A meeting regarding the renovation/ reconstruction of the Auditorium of Fatima Jinnah Medical University was held under the chairmanship of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal.
Mr. Nayyar Ali Dada, a renowned Architect of Pakistan, was invited for his expert opinion regarding the renovation/ reconstruction of Auditorium of FJMU.

The company has developed a broad portfolio spanning both the public and private sectors during its existence and has worked with a number of well-known clients. The firm has valuable experience in restoration and rehabilitation projects throughout Pakistan. Nayyar Ali Dada & Associates has become synonymous with architectural landmarks and is attributed with the success of many such as the Alhamra Art Centre, Open Air Theatre, Qaddafi Stadium, Bahria Tower/Mall of Lahore (a premium mall outlet), Expo Centre Lahore, Shakir Ali Museum, and many other landmarks.
The meeting was also attended by the Pro-Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Kamran Khalid Khawaja, Principal FJMC Prof. Noreen Akmal, Head of Obst. & Gynae Unit-IV Prof. Amna Euseph, Medical Superintendent SGRH Dr. Sohail Arshad, and Consultant Development Projects SGRH Dr. Ijaz Ahmad Sheikh.
The Deputy Director (Procurement) gave a comprehensive presentation of the existing auditorium of FJMU, Lahore, which was constructed in 1967 and currently needs to be refurbished. The Hon’ble Health Minister, Govt. of the Punjab, was requested to provide administrative & financial support at the Government level for the construction of a new auditorium, which will be named “Kashmir Auditorium” of FJMU, Lahore. The Hon’ble Health Minister, Govt. of the Punjab, also agreed with the request of the university administration for the construction of a new auditorium.
Head of Obst. & Gynae Unit IV, Prof. Amna Euseph, has been nominated as the focal person of this project.
Mr. Nayyar Ali Dada physically visited the auditorium and carefully examined the area, and gave his expert opinion on the structural framework of the auditorium. Pro-Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Kamran Khalid Khawaja, Principal, FJMC Prof. Noreen Akmal, and Head, Obstetrics & Gynaecology Unit-IV, Prof. Amna Euseph and Prof Bilquis Shabbir were present on the occasion.
The meeting concluded with words of thanks by the worthy Vice Chancellor FJMU and presented an honorary shield to Mr. Nayyar Ali Dada, followed by a group photo.
