GREEN YOUTH MOVEMENT AND TREE PLANTATION INITIATIVE AT FJMU

Green Youth Movement, FJMU, in collaboration with the Forest Department, held its Annual tree plantation drive today in Fatima Jinnah medical University. Vice chancellor FJMU Prof Dr Khalid Masood Gondal graced the ceremony accompanied by Principal Prof Dr Noreen Akmal, focal person GYM Dr Faiza Abrar, Dean Basic Sciences Prof Dr Munnaza Iqbal,Dean Undergraduate Prof Dr Muneeza Qayyum, Director QEC Prof Dr Bilquis Shabbir, ex VC FJMU Prof Dr Shamsa Hamayun, HODs and faculty of FJMU/SGRH and students .

Trees were planted in the premesis of FJMU by Prof. Dr. Khalid Saeed Khan ( Former Editor in Chief of British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Founder of Core Outcomes in Women and in Newborn) Vice chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Gondal, Principal, and Dean’s of University amidst prayers and applause. Many samplings of fruit trees were also provided by the Forest Department, which are to be planted in the hostel of FJMU, and we’re distributed among faculty and students. It was a great event, sensitising our youth towards a green eco-friendly Pakistan.
