As per directions on Honourable Chief Minister, Punjab,Minister for Health, Prof Javed Akram inaugurated the Punjab Institute of Cardiology Satellite Clinic at Shahdara, along with VC FJMU Prof Khalid Masud Gondal. Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Kamran Khalid, Chairperson Med/Director QEC/Dean Nursing Prof Bilquis Shabbir, and Prof of Cardiology, Prof Bilal Mohiuddin were present on this occasion. PIC Team Lead by Dr Mohammad Farqad Alamgir, Prof Nauman Ahmad and Dr Mohsin was also a part of the ceremony offering their services in this regard. The Health Minister visited the patients presenting in the newly established clinic and talked to the media on this occasion. He also provided free COVID Rapid Antigen Kits to Fatima Jinnah Medical University as a wing of an ongoing multinational research project .
