A meeting of the Board of Faculty (Medicine) was held on Monday, July 31, 2023, under the Chairmanship of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal, at Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Lahore.
The Respected Members of the BoF Medicine which include Dean Medicine/ Registrar, FJMU Prof. Muhammad Nadeem, Chairperson Department of Medicine/ Director QEC/ Dean Nursing, Prof. Bilquis Shabbir, Dean Public Health & Preventive Medicine, Prof. Naveed Akbar Hotiana, Head of Anesthesia Department Prof. Muzamil Hussain, Head of Medical Unit-III, Prof. Muhammad Aftab, Head of Radiology Department, Prof. Mah Jabeen, Head of Physiology Department Dr. Naghmana Lateef, Head of Oncology Department, Dr. Saif Ur Rehman and Head of Pulmonology Department, Dr. Ayub Mirza attended the meeting.
A total of four candidates, along with their supervisors, appeared before the board for the approval of their synopses.
The BoF Medicine unanimously approved the synopses of the three candidates, and the remaining one candidate was directed to reappear before the board with the amended topic in the next meeting of BoF (Medicine).
