A meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) was held on Thursday, November 30, 2023, under the Chairmanship of the Pro-Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Dr. Kamran Khalid Khawaja, at Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Lahore.
The Respected Members of the BASR which include Chairperson Department of Medicine/Dean Faculty of Nursing/Director Quality Enhancement Cell, Prof. Bilquis Shabbir; Dean Medicine, Prof. Muhammad Nadeem; Dean Public Health & Preventive Medicine, Prof. Naveed Akbar Hotiana; Dean Faculty of Basic Sciences, Prof. Aliya Zahid; Head of Psychiatry Department, Prof. Aysha Rashid, Professor of Community Medicine, UOL, Prof. Munir Akhtar Saleemi, Head of Community Medicine Dr. Taskeen Zahra, and Controller of Examinations, Mr. Muhammad Nabeel attended the meeting.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Kamran Khalid Khawaja welcomed all the members. A total of 11 candidates, along with their supervisors, appeared before the board for the approval of their synopses. The BASR unanimously approved the synopses of all candidates with some amendments. The meeting was ended with a vote of thanks by the Chair.
