A meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) was held on May 25, 2023, under the chairmanship of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal, at Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Lahore.
The Respected Members of the BASR which include Pro-Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Kamran Khalid; Dean Nursing/ Chairperson Medicine, Prof. Bilquis Shabbir, Dean Basic Sciences, Prof. Munazza Iqbal; Dean Neurosciences, Prof. Abdul Hameed; Dean Medicine, Prof. Muhammad Nadeem; Dean Public Health & Preventive Medicine, Prof. Naveed Akbar Hotiana; Faculty of Basic Sciences, Prof. Aliya Zahid; Faculty of General Medicine, Prof. Muhammad Naeem Afzal; Professor of Surgery, Prof. Imran Aslam; Faculty of Neurosciences, Prof. Aysha Rashid; Professor of Community Medicine, UOL, Prof. Munir Akhtar Saleemi; HOD Preventive Medicine, Dr. Rameeza Kaleem and Controller of Examinations, Mr. Muhammad Nabeel attended the meeting.
Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Khalid Masud Gondal welcomed all the members.
A total of 12 candidates, along with their supervisors, appeared before the board for the approval of their synopses.
The BASR unanimously approved the synopses of the candidates with some amendments.
