The Department of Medical Education of Fatima Jinnah Medical University organized a workshop. This workshop was organized as a subsidiary workshop of the International Conference organized by The University of Lahore.
The title of the workshop was “Spices of Success: A Flavorful Journey Through Clerkship.”
The facilitators of the workshop were Prof. Dr. Saima Batool and Dr. Saima Rafique.
The objective of the workshop was to build the capacity of medical teachers to work on curriculum, highlight the importance, and need for medical education.
The Director of the Medical Education Department, Professor Noreen Akmal, welcomed the Honourable Vice Chancellor and distinguished guests.
The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal (Tamgha Imtiaz, Presidential Pride of Performance), started the inaugural session of the conference. While addressing, he spoke about the changing needs and trends of medical education in Pakistan.
A total of 20 participants from FJMU and other institutions attended the workshop.
In the initial session of the workshop, Chairperson Department of Medicine/ Director Quality Enhancement Cell/ Dean Nursing Prof. Bilquis Shabbir, Registrar Prof. Muhammad Nadeem, Former Dean Basic Sciences Prof. Munazza Iqbal, also participated in the workshop.
Dr. Farah Rehman Assistant Professor DME coordinates the workshop.
