QUALITY HEALTH CARE AT GOVERNMENT TEACHING HOSPITAL, SHAHDARA.

Quality healthcare at GTHS is aligned with the visionary goals of the Chief Minister of Punjab and the SHC&ME Department of FJMU University. The university administration, led by VC Prof. Khalid M. Gondal, Prof. VC Prof. Kamran Khalid KH, Dean and HOD of Medicine Prof. Bilquis Shabbir, and Registrar Prof. Muhammad Nadeem Qasuri, in collaboration with Shahdra Hospital’s faculty and administration, has formulated comprehensive plans for both short and long-term enhancements in service quality. Immediate measures include assigning supervisors to all accredited specialties and reinstating PGRs to GTHS. Additionally, an FJMU biomedical engineer, along with an HVAC expert, has been deployed for a 3-month duration. Emergency services are being expanded, incorporating 25 extra beds and ensuring round-the-clock availability of doctors specializing in Medicine, Surgery, and Allied fields. GTHS remains dedicated to delivering quality patient care, in line with the vision of tthePunjab government .
