The Department of Medical Education, FJMU, organised the 3rd contact Session of Batch 7 in Certificate in Health Professionals Education (CHPE) course from July 17 to 20, 2023, under the kind patronage of Worthy Vice Chancellor, FJMU Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal (Tamga e Imtiaz, Presidential Pride of Performance) and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Noreen Akmal, Director DME, and Principal FJMC.

The Vice Chancellor’s speech was full of motivation, and he expressed his vision regarding medical education in Pakistan and the role of Fatima Jinnah Medical University to promote excellence in Medical Education.
Today’s session was facilitated by Prof. Kamran Khalid Khwaja, Pro Vice Chancellor/ Renowned Medical Educationist/ Dean of Surgery and Prof. Noreen Akmal, Principal FJMC/ Director Medical Education/ Professor of Obst. & Gynae/ Renowned Medical Educationist.They taught about the different Methods of Assessment.
There are total 25 Students enrolled in this Batch. Out of these, 13 are from the FJMU and affiliated institutions, and 12 are from other teaching institutions and hospitals in the Country.
Prof. Muhammad Nadeem, Registrar, FJMU, also attended today’s session.
Dr. Farah Rehman, Assistant Professor DME, coordinated the session.
