Today, a welcome ceremony was arranged by the Obst. & Gynae Department under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Aisha Malik (HOD Gynae Unit 1/ Dean Undergraduate) to welcome the newly appointed Associate Professors, posted at Obst. & Gynae Department of Fatima Jinnah Medical University/ Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore.
Associate Professors consists of Dr. Amna Ahsan, Dr. Nomia, Dr. Mahum Janjua, and Dr. Khadija.
The worthy Vice Chancellor FJMU Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal (T.I. pride of performance) graced the event as chief guest.
Prof. Noreen Akmal (HOD Gynae Unit 2/Director DME), Prof. Dr. Bilquis Shabbir (Chairperson Department of Medicine/Quality Enhancement Cell/Dean Nursing FJMU), Prof. Shamsa Humayun (Visiting Prof. FJMU/Former VC FJMU), MS SGRH Dr. Sohail Arshad, Dean of Neuroscience Prof. Dr. Abdul Hameed HOD Gynae Unit 3, Prof. Dr. Shamila Ijaz, HOD Gynae Unit 4 Prof. Amna Euseph, Gynae faculty, SRs, Gynae PGRs were present in the ceremony.
Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal VC FJMU congratulated the all four newly appointed Associate Professors on their selection at FJMU. He said, this is a valuable addition to the faculty of FJMU, and hoped that they would work in collaboration with other faculty members to make this university among the highest-ranking universities in the world. He warm-heartedly welcomed them in FJMU and cut a cake and presented them with bouquets. The ceremony ended with a group photo.
