Workshop at FJMU on ” *Designing Online Course for Medical Teachers* “.
The Department of Medical Education, Fatima Jinnah Medical University in collaboration with University of Lahore today i.e 01.11.2022, conducted a Pre-Conference Workshop of 6th International Health Professions Education(ICHPE).
The title of the Workshop was ” *Designing Online Course for Medical Teachers* “.
The Workshop was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Gohar Wajid and Co-facilitated by Dr.Noor-i-Kiran Naeem and Dr. Saima Rafique.
The Workshop aimed to highlight the need for capacity building of the medical teachers. There were interactive brainstorming sessions and discussions among the participants over the need analysis for online learning programs.
Prof. Noreen Akmal, Director Department of Medical Education, welcomed the Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal and honorable guests.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal (Tamga-e-Imtiaz, Pride of Performance), inaugurated the Session, His speech was full of his vision regarding Medical Education in Pakistan.
Prof. Dr. Aamer Zaman Khan Ex- Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University was the Chief Guest of today’s Session. He also shared his vision regarding Medical Education in Pakistan.
Total 35 faculty members enrolled in the Workshop from FJMU and other Institutes including two members from Bolan Medical College Quetta.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Shamsa Humayun, Dean Undergraduate Prof. Muniza Qayyum, Dean Basic Sciences Prof. Munazza Iqbal, Director QEC Prof. Bilquis Shabbir and Dr. Farah Rehman also attended the Workshop.
At the end of Session, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Masud Gondal awarded the certificates to the participants of the Workshop.
